A special place in our heart, Sting is a puppy from our first litter out of Cedar. On June the 5th, at 15 1/2 years young, our beloved Sting passed.He couldn't have asked for a better partner, companion and soul mate in Sandy. He will be missed and our sincerest condolenses go to Sandy and Mike.Thankyou for giving our puppy the ride of a lifetime!
Born February 21, 1994 at 9:00pm. Sting weighed 15 1/2 ozs. At 8 weeks old he flew up to Ancorage, Alaska to spend the rest of his life owned and loved by Sandy Rowan. Sandy had done very well in Obedience with her first Border Collie, Stings uncle, and Sting loved to work!
Sting and Sandy began his career in Obedience competition with a perfect score of 200 for his first leg in Novice! He has won 34 High In Trial's and 17 High Combined. He has also been in the TOP 3 of the Pacific Northwest Obedience Teams 3 years running, winning 1st place one year. After completing his OTCH , Sandy and Sting went more heavily into agility. He was as fast and focused in agility as he was in obedience. Sandy reports...
