TROOPER'S HERDING PAGE 

Trooper was born May 24, 2005. Second born puppy in a litter of 4, he was 16 1/2 ozs. at birth. Very dark red, with only a little white, he has grown into a very handosme young dog! He lives in Northridge, California, with his Mom, Ann Hills. Ann plans to trial Trooper in Obedience and Agility, but like the rest of Tru's offspring, he has done so well with the sheep, she has been bitten by the herding bug:-) Ann is a good friend, and has given our pup Trooper a fantastic home!     As a pup, Trooper was BAER and CERF tested normal.

**News Flash- Aug 5/07 Ann flew up to Canada for a wonderful visit, and left with a new addition...our Tru puppy,"TRACE", is now living in California with his big brother Trooper!

**Oct/07 -NADAC trial- Trooper earns NAC and WV-N (Novice agility certificate and Novice weavers) with the second fastest time in tunnelers of about 200 dogs!

**Mar/08- Trooper competed in ASCA advanced Sheep for the first time. He finished in the top 5 of 17 dogs with scores of 109 and 112 (out of 125) and completed his title! Great job Ann and Troop!

**May 3/08-Herding dog Extraordinaire ! After quickly scanning the arena for sheep :0), Trooper earned his duck herding title, going 3 for 3 Q's with 3 first place finishes! In only his second trial in Advanced Sheep, he had a gorgeous run with some very difficult sheep and took 1st place and High in Trial Sheep, beating some 30 hardcore competitors. What a great weekend Ann!
